1 Thessalonians 2:7 SBLGNT δυνάμενοι ἐν βάρει εἶναι ὡς Χριστοῦ ἀπόστολοι· ἀλλὰ ἐγενήθημεν ⸀ἤπιοι ἐν μέσῳ ὑμῶν, ὡς ⸀ἐὰν τροφὸς θάλπῃ τὰ ἑαυτῆς τέκνα· YLT But we became gentle in your midst, as a nurse may cherish her own children, LEB Although we could have insisted on our own importance as apostles of Christ, yet we became infants in your midst, like a nursing mother cherishes her own children.
