עַמִּי בְּנֵי יִשְרָאֵל לָא יִשְׁתְּבַּע חָד מִנְכוֹן בְּשׁוּם מֵימְרֵיהּ דַיְיָ אֱלָהָכוֹן עַל מַגַן אֲרוּם לָא מְזַכֵּי יְיָ בְּיוֹם דִינָא רַבָּא יַת כָּל מַאן דְּמִשְׁתְּבַּע בִּשְׁמֵיהּ עַל מַגָן Sons of Israel, My people, no one of you shall swear by the Name of the Word of the Lord your God in vain: for the Lord, in the day of the great judgment, will not acquit any one who shall swear by His Name in vain.

וַאֲמַרְתּוּן הָא אַחֲמֵי יָתוּן מֵימְרָא דַיְיָ אֱלָהָנָא יַת שְׁכִינַת יְקָרֵיהּ וְיַת רְבוּת תּוּשְׁבַּחְתֵּיהּ וְיַת קַל מֵימְרֵיהּ שְׁמַעְנָא מִגוֹ אֵישָׁתָא יוֹמָא הָדֵין חָמֵינָא אֲרוּם מְמַלֵל יְיָ עִם בַּר נַשׁ דְּרוּחַ קַדִּישָׁא בֵּיהּ וּמִתְקַיֵּים and said, Behold, the Word of the Lord our God hath showed us His glorious Shekinah, and the greatness of His excellency, (tushbachteih, His magnificence,) and the voice of His Word have we heard out of the midst of the fire. This day have we seen that the Lord speaketh with a man in whom is the Holy Spirit, and he remaineth alive.

וּכְדוֹן לְמָא נְמוּת אֲרוּם תֵּיכְלִינָנָא אֵישָׁתָא רַבְּתָא הָדֵין אִין מוֹסִיפִין אֲנַחְנָא לְמִשְׁמַע יַת קַל מֵימְרָא דַיְיָ אֱלָהָנָא תּוּב וּמַיְיתִין אֲנַחְנָא But now why should we die? For this great fire will devour us; if we again hear the voice of the Word of the Lord our God, we shall die.
