targum
34.16 Seek and search in the book of the LORD: not one of these is missing; no female is without her mate. For by his Memra they will be gathered, and by hispleasure they willdraw near. 34.17 He by his Memra has cast the lot for them, by his pleasure he has portioned it out to them with the line; they shall possess it for ever, from generation to generation they shall dwell in it.
NOTES
- the meturgeman seems resistant to even translating the spirit OF Yahweh, and chooses to say the spirit FROM Yahweh e.g. 40:7 ( 40.7 The grass withers, its flower fades, for the spirit from the LORD blows upon it; surely the wicked among the people are reckoned as ihe grass. )
- consider verse 13 (40.13 Who established the holy spirit in the mouth of all theprophets, is it not the LORD? And to the righteous who performs his Memra he makes known the words of his pleasure. )
